Subscriber Celebration at Stafford

If you’re a current subscriber to RealClassic magazine then make sure to seek out the RC Crew at the Stafford Show on Saturday 15 October. For many of us – RC Crew included – it’s been a while since we’ve enjoyed a proper classic bike show at Stafford. Despite all the upheaval of the past couple of years, this October’s event promises to major on the important things: old bikes. The focus of this show is on more recent classics so there’s a special display devoted to the ‘naughty 90s’ and we think they mean the decade of the 1990s, not mischievous nonagenarians… but anything is possible!

So make sure you allow plenty of time to admire all the displays of scruffy and shiny bikes, the club stands, the trials display, the outdoor paddock where race bikes let rip, special guest John Kocinski, the stunt show, the auction hall and the extensive array of autojumble and trade stalls selling all manner of old stock and modern spares for bikes of all ages.

And then… come and find the RealClassic Roadshow, on stand B100 on the balcony above the main hall, right next to the restaurant and bar (handy, that). To celebrate a triumphant return to Stafford we’ve organised a super-special subscriber giveaway with stacks of prizes up for grabs on the Saturday.

There will be an assortment of inevitably eccentric prizes which you could win – from books about bikes to bottles of champagne and who knows what else. Anyone with a current subscription to the magazine can enter the giveaway and all the instructions are in this month’s subscriber newsletter.

Frank and Rowena hope to meet and greet lots of old friends – and make some new ones – so please do stop by and see us on the Saturday.
