I would like to thank you for the free access to issues 1 and 2. I only became aware of the magazine a couple of years ago and subscribed straight away but obviously missed a lot of issues. Interesting to see how little the mag has changed over the years. Excellent through and through. I have been ‘into’ motorcycling since passing my test in 1982 at the age of 34 and have read the vast majority of mags since. In fact I won a set of leathers in a competition in Motorcycle Enthusiast back in the eighties, but I digress. Real classic is one of the absolute best and congrats to Frank and Rowena (is this the same Rowena who was an official in the Moto Guzzi Owners Club back in the day?) On a brilliant contribution to the motorcycling world.
Delighted you’ve enjoyed this glimpse back in time! You’re absolutely correct: we’ve tried to keep the essential ethos of RC (whatever that actually is) alive and thriving over the years. The emphasis and presentation may develop, but the magazine’s raison d’etre remains the same…
And this Rowena hasn’t been an official in the Guzzi club, so that must be a different Rowena!
